Guide to Life for Graduates: WEAR SUNSCREEN

Inside every adult lurks a graduation speaker dying to get out, some world-weary pundit eager to pontificate on life to young people who'd rather be Rollerblading. Most of us, alas, will never be invited to sow our words of wisdom among an audience of caps and gowns, but there's no reason we can't entertain ourselves by composing a Guide to Life for Graduates.

I encourage anyone over 26 to try this and thank you for indulging my attempt.
Ladies and gentlemen of the class of '97:
 

 

Wear sunscreen.

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. I will dispense this advice now.

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You are not as fat as you imagine.

Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4 p.m. on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing every day that scares you.

Sing.

Don't be reckless with other people's hearts. Don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.

Floss.

Don't waste your time on jealousy. Sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. The race is long and, in the end, it's only with yourself.

Remember compliments you receive. Forget the insults. If you succeed in doing this, tell me how.

Keep your old love letters. Throw away your old bank statements.

Stretch.

Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives. Some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don't.

Get plenty of calcium. Be kind to your knees. You'll miss them when they're gone.

Maybe you'll marry, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll have children, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll divorce at 40, maybe you'll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary. Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much, or berate yourself either. Your choices are half chance. So are everybody else's.

Enjoy your body. Use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it or of what other people think of it. It's the greatest instrument you'll ever own.

Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but your living room.

Meteor Slams into Russia Shower or UFO over Russia Video of meteorite shower

 


Moscow (CNN) -- A meteor streaked through the skies above Russia's Urals region Friday morning before exploding with a flash and boom that shattered glass in buildings and left about 1,000 people hurt, authorities said.

Described by NASA as a "tiny asteroid," the meteor's explosion created a blast in central Russia equivalent to 300,000 tons of TNT, the space agency's officials said Friday, adding that the incident was a once-in-100-years event.

The injured included more than 200 children. Most of those hurt are in the Chelyabinsk region, though the vast majority of injuries are not thought to be serious.

 


 



About 3,000 buildings were damaged -- mostly with broken glass -- as a result of the shock waves caused by the blast, the state-run RIA Novosti news agency said.




 

 


Vladimir Stepanov, of the National Center for Emergency Situations at the Russian Interior Ministry, earlier told state media that hospitals, kindergartens and schools were among those affected.

About 20,000 emergency response workers were mobilized, RIA Novosti reported.

Amateur video footage showed a bright white streak moving rapidly across the sky, before exploding with an even brighter flash and a deafening bang.


 


The explosion occurred about 9:20 a.m. local time, as many people were out and about.

It was captured in vivid images by Russians, many of whom used dash cameras inside their vehicles.

Dash cameras are popular in Russia for several reasons including possible disputes over traffic accidents and the corrupt reputations of police in many areas. Drivers install the cameras for their own protection and to document incidents they could be caught in; on Friday, they were able to document a spectacular natural phenomenon.

CNN iReporter and Instagram user Max Chuykov saw the meteor trail from the city of Yekaterinburg. He shared on Instagram that it was "close to the ground."

Witness Ekaterina Shlygina posted to CNN iReport and wrote on Instagram: "Upon Chelyabinsk a huge fireball has exploded. It wasn't an aircraft."

The national space agency, Roscosmos, said scientists believed one meteoroid had entered the atmosphere, where it burned and disintegrated into fragments.

The resulting meteorites are believed to be scattered across three regions of Russia, one of them Chelyabinsk, as well as neighboring Kazakhstan, the news agency said.

One large chunk was discovered in a lake in the Chelyabinsk region, RIA Novosti cited the Chelyabinsk governor as saying.

A spokesman for the Emergency Ministry for the Chelyabinsk region told CNN earlier Friday that 524 people there were injured and 34 hospitalized.

NASA estimates 4,700 'potentially hazardous' asteroids

For sky watchers, the reports bring to mind the famous Tunguska event of 1908 in remote Siberia, in which an asteroid entered the atmosphere and exploded, leveling trees over an area of 820 square miles -- about two-thirds the size of Rhode Island.

About 80 million trees were felled, radiating out from the center of the blast, but no crater was left.

Friday's Chelyabinsk meteor came on the same day that a hefty asteroid charged past Earth.

An asteroid makes a close call. Fear not, scientists say

Known as 2012 DA14, the asteroid is thought to be 45 meters long, about half the length of a football field. But scientists say it came not much closer than 17,100 miles from our planet's surface.

Officials from around the world were quick to call for greater vigilance in monitoring meteors.

"Today's event is a strong reminder of why we need continuous efforts to survey and identify near-Earth objects," said Thomas Reiter, European Space Agency's Director of Human Spaceflight and Operations.

Deep Space Industries, a recently created space exploration company, said countries should be proactive in establishing "a sentry line of spacecraft circling the Earth to intercept and evaluate incoming threats."

"The hundreds of people injured in northern Russia show it's time to take action and no longer be passive about these threats," said Rick Tumlinson, chairman of Deep Space Industries.

NASA spokesman Steve Cole told CNN that scientists had determined that the Russian meteor was on a very different trajectory from the larger asteroid.

"They are completely unrelated objects -- it's a strange coincidence they are happening at the same time," said Don Yeomans, manager of the Near-Earth Object Program Office at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Asteroid and meteor: Connected?

"This kind of object does fall fairly frequently, but when they fall into the ocean or desert, there is no impact on people -- so this one is unusual in the sense that it's come over a populated area," Yeomans said.

Cole said he wasn't aware whether scientists had foreseen the meteor's entry into the atmosphere.

Because meteoroids are small, they are hard to spot and there is often little warning that they are heading toward Earth, he said.

Spaceship Earth took two celestial shots across its bow as, first, a meteor struck Russia, showering the Chelyabinsk region with fragments and reportedly injuring several hundred people, and second, as Asteroid 2012 DA14 whizzed past on 15 February. Traditionally, a torpedo across the bow is fired as a warning to change one's behavior – and this coincidence of events should be a warning to humanity that meteors are not always as benign as "shooting stars" and that the next asteroid might not miss! Will we, the crew of SS Earth heed this warning?

We can look at asteroid 2012 DA14 (or DA14 for short), which missed the Earth by a mere 17,000 miles, in two ways. DA14 is one of about 10,000 near-Earth asteroids that have been discovered in the past 15 years that pass close to our planet, threatening an impact. However, since we have seen these asteroids and are currently tracking them, we can predict any upcoming impacts. Happily, none of those we've found to date pose any substantial threat of impact.

Nevertheless, the Earth is hit by one of these relatively small DA14-sized asteroids about once every 300 years, on average. And "small" is far, far from insignificant. The DA14-like asteroid that hit Earth in 1908 did so in a remote region of Siberia, where the explosion (the equivalent of about 250 Hiroshima nuclear bombs going off at one time) destroyed over 800 square miles of the countryside. This disaster zone, superimposed on any city in the world, would have wiped it and all its residents from the face of the Earth. I refer you, as a graphic reminder of the power of such explosions, to the post-facto Hiroshima bomb pictures readily found online.








The second way to view DA14 is to realize that, until just about a year ago, it was one of about 1 million similarly sized, near-Earth asteroids, which we know are out there, statistically, but that we haven't yet seen. Consequently, until we find them in our telescopes, we are like sitting ducks in a shooting gallery with nothing more than luck to prevent a disaster. Regrettably, the Earth-based telescopes we've been using to discover and track these objects have, practically speaking, reached their limitations for finding the vast majority of these cosmic torpedoes.

Why do we care about finding them if there's nothing we can do about it?

Because, unknown to most people, is that if we have adequate early warning, our current space technology is sufficiently advanced to deflect these asteroids. For smaller impacts, even a last-minute warning of several days could enable a local evacuation and save many lives.

Deflection, however, will generally require several decades of warning. Fortunately, due to the relatively pure nature of space dynamics, forecasting an asteroid impact 100 years in advance is possible once its orbit is well known.

Over the past 15 years, NASA has, thankfully, discovered over 95% of the largest asteroids that cross the Earth's orbit and that would have planet-wide consequences on impact. Unfortunately, due to the limitations of the telescopes, we have discovered less than 1% of their smaller DA14-like cousins "only" capable of wiping out a metropolitan area; 99% of the job remains to be done.



Another Tunguska event?


The incident in Chelyabinsk bears a strong resemblance to the 1908 Tunguska event – an exceptionally powerful explosion in Siberia believed to have been caused by a fragment of a comet or meteor.

According to estimates, the energy of the Tunguska blast may have been as high as 50 megatons of TNT, equal to a nuclear explosion. Some 80 million trees were leveled over a 2,000-square-kilometer area. The Tunguska blast remains one of the most mysterious events in history, prompting a wide array of hypotheses on its cause, including a black hole passing through Earth and the wreck of an alien spacecraft.

It is believed that if the Tunguska event had happened 4 hours later, due to the rotation of the Earth it would have completely destroyed the city of Vyborg and significantly damaged St. Petersburg.  


When a similar, though less powerful, unexplained explosion happened in Brazil in 1930, it was named the ‘Brazilian Tunguska.’ The Tunguska event also prompted debate and research into preventing or mitigating asteroid impacts.

POPE BENEDICT ANNOUNCES:RESIGNATION

Pope Benedict was made an offer he couldn't refuse.


Pope Benedict XVI announced Monday that he would resign Feb. 28 — the first pontiff to do so in nearly 600 years. The decision sets the stage for a conclave to elect a new pope before the end of March.

The 85-year-old pope announced his decision in Latin during a meeting of Vatican cardinals on Monday morning.

He emphasized that carrying out the duties of being pope — the leader of more than a billion Roman Catholics worldwide — requires "both strength of mind and body."

"After having repeatedly examined my conscience before God, I have come to the certainty that my strengths due to an advanced age are no longer suited to an adequate exercise of the Petrine ministry," he told the cardinals. "I am well aware that this ministry, due to its essential spiritual nature, must be carried out not only by words and deeds but no less with prayer and suffering.

"However, in today's world, subject to so many rapid changes and shaken by questions of deep relevance for the life of faith, in order to govern the bark of St. Peter and proclaim the Gospel, both strength of mind and body are necessary — strengths which in the last few months, has deteriorated in me to the extent that I have had to recognize my incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me."

The last pope to resign was Pope Gregory XII, who stepped down in 1415 in a deal to end the Great Western Schism among competing papal claimants.

Benedict called his choice "a decision of great importance for the life of the church."



 


Last year, Paolo Gabriele, Pope Benedict's personal butler from 2006 to 2012, was believed to have leaked stolen information belonging to the Pope to the author of the best selling book,"Sua Santita" ("His Holiness").  He was held by Vatican police, who claim to have found classified documents in his apartment, and was pardoned by Pope Benedict. Gabriele told investigators he acted because he saw "evil and corruption everywhere in the church".

 

Pope Benedict XVI has pardoned his former butler, Paolo Gabriele, weeks after he was sentenced to 18 months in prison for leaking the pope's private papers, Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said.
The pope visited Gabriele in prison "in order to confirm his forgiveness and communicate in person his decision to grant Mr. Gabriele's request for pardon, thereby remitting the sentence passed against the latter," said a Vatican statement.
"This constitutes a paternal gesture toward a person with whom the Pope shared a relationship of daily familiarity for many years."
Gabriele was immediately released and has returned home, the statement said.

  

The Pope's butler's fate will be decided by court
"Since he cannot resume his previous occupation or continue to live in Vatican City, the Holy See, trusting in his sincere repentance, wishes to offer him the possibility of returning to a serene family life," it said.
Gabriele, one of the pope's closest personal assistants, was convicted in October of aggravated theft for leaking secret papers from the pontiff's personal apartment to an author who included them in a best-selling book.
During the high-profile trial, Gabriele declared himself not guilty, but said he had abused the pope's trust. He asked forgiveness of the pontiff for his actions, which he said were intended to expose wrongdoing.
The Holy See media office had previously indicated that Gabriele could be pardoned. He was held in a cell in Vatican City since October.
Gabriele was arrested in May, following a Vatican investigation into how the pope's private documents appeared in the book "Sua Santita" ("His Holiness"), by Italian journalist Gianluigi Nuzzi.
The book, based on the papers, revealed claims of corruption in the church's hierarchy.
At his trial, police told how they found more than 1,000 important documents among a stash of hundreds of thousands of papers in Gabriele's apartments in Vatican City and Castel Gondolfo, a town near Rome.
Among them were original papers signed by Pope Benedict XVI, some of them stamped with an order for destruction, according to the journalists allowed to attend the trial.
Also found in his possession were a gold nugget belonging to the pope, a signed check made out to Pope Benedict XVI for 100,000 euros and an original version of Virgil's Aeneid from 1581.


His Holiness: The Secret Papers of Benedict XVI (Italian: Sua Santità. Le carte segrete di Benedetto XVI) is a book published by Italian journalist Gianluigi Nuzzi, consisting of confidential letters and memos between Pope Benedict XVI and his personal secretary. The letters in the book portray the Vatican as a corrupt hot bed of jealousy, intrigue and underhanded factional fighting.

Nuzzi's book reveals details about the Pope's personal finances, and includes tales of bribes made to procure an audience with him. It reproduces confidential letters and memos to and from Benedict and his personal secretary. It contains letters from a very senior Vatican administrator to Pope Benedict in which he begged not to be transferred for having exposed alleged corruption that cost the Holy See millions of euros in higher contract prices. The documents also cover a 2009 scandal concerning the ex-editor of the newspaper of the Italian bishops' conference, a dinner between Benedict and Italy's president, and a 2011 letter from an Italian talk show host to the pope enclosing a cheque for 10,000 euros for his charity work – and asking for a private audience in exchange. Diplomatic cables include Vatican embassies from Jerusalem to Cameroon, as well as conclusions of the pope's inquiry into the disgraced Legion of Christ religious order - where he is warned that the financial situation of the order, beset by a scandal over its paedophile founder, "while not grave, is serious and pressing".
The documents portray the Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, in a particularly negative light.

Pietro is an Italian form of the name "Peter" and this right-hand man to the current pope was born in "Roman"o Canavese.

It is also interesting to note several reports last year about the possibility of the current Pope Benedict XVI resigning/being assasinated etc. in the near future.


In addition, although some sources have debunked the claim, there have been speculation of the Pope resigning shortly after his 85th birthday in the middle of April 2012.

Bookmakers also offered odds of 8-1 on Archbishop Angelo Scola of Italy and 10-1 on Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga of Honduras. At the humorous end of the scale, a bookmaker, Coral, was offering 2000-1 on disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong becoming pope.

* INTERESETING FACT: How a President robbed his citizens od their gold to make a profit.

Monetary Realists--both of us--are like the little boy in the story of the Emperor's new clothes. Untrained in economics, we do not know what we are supposed to see; and we have escaped the indoctrination, a.k.a. education, which instructs us to see what isn't there, and assert what we do not know as true.
An example: responding to the depression of the '30s, President Roosevelt "revalued gold from $20.67 to $35 per ounce." The quote is from the estimable and learned vronsky, from his article at this site, "A Possible 1999 Scenario." The quote is buttressed by another quote from "contemporary experts: "In an effort to rise out of the economic depression, and generate more employment, FDR on January 31, 1923, devalued the dollar by raising the price paid for gold by the U.S. Treasury." And indeed, there is virtually unanimous agreement among the cognoscenti that Roosevelt did, indeed, "raise the price of gold" by his action of 1931. May a small timid voice ask, "Did he?"

What ever happened to the meaning of words? Let us look at Roosevelt's actions through the eyes of the little boy at the Emperor's parade.

"--raising the price of gold." How does one pay a price? In money. What, specifically, was American money in 1934? Well, for foreigners, it was gold, although American citizens had had their money stolen by FDR in 1933. So our government, specifically the Treasury, was going to pay more money for gold subsequent to Roosevelt's ukase. But gold WAS money; money WAS gold! To pay more money for gold meant paying more gold for less. The dollar was .0483 ounce of gold, when the dollar was standardized at $20.67/oz. With the dollar at $35.00/oz, it was .0286 ounce. So the government announced, in what is generally regarded as a stroke of economic savvy and sophistication, that it would pay gold for gold, and that to buy .0483 of an ounce, it would pay .0286 ounces! Moreover, it announced that this was an "increase" in the price of gold! And people believed it, and still do!

But it probably never happened that way. The idea, after all, was to cheapen the paper currency. You can't cheapen gold! So Mr. Roosevelt and his henchmen would offer foreigners 35 Federal Reserve "notes" for an ounce of gold which had previously been "worth" 20.67. Wow! What a deal. Apparently, many went for it. However, should those foreigners decide to take the $35.00 from the sale of an ounce of gold, and use it to buy gold, they would end up with what they sold in the first place: an ounce of gold. No profit whatsoever. If they used the "dollars" (of what?) to buy $100 worth of gold they would have ended up with $59 worth of gold of the previous value, which they had sold so "profitably." A loss! But if they used the paper currency, not to buy gold, but to buy American products, they could buy more of them, since their prices had not changed. The producers of those products, however, would have to accept "dollars" worth only 59 cents!

What a protection for the American worker! The extent to which he was being robbed, however, was not apparent to him, because the government had, the year before, stripped him of gold ownership, so that he could not take his "dollars" to the bank and test them. And with more Americans working (albeit at a 41% discount!) the appearance of prosperity was undeniable.

What a malign institution is government! Designed to protect the rights of the people, it robs them under the guise of protection! And it does this to solve problems of its own making. Robbing the people it was created to protect, it enriched foreigners at the expense of those very same people.

Interestingly, it found this job easier because a gullible people either did not demand, or did not understand, the meaning of words; especially that most important word "dollar." Today it is a legal fiction for which we are expected to give our lives, at least to the extent of 40 hours weekly. In 1934, it did have a meaning, but no one asked, or no one cared. Neither did anyone question why anyone would use gold (money) to buy gold, or give less gold for more. Indeed, it is rather obvious that the only thing which cannot have a price is money!


Executive Order 6102 is an Executive Order signed on April 5, 1933, by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt "forbidding the Hoarding of Gold Coin, Gold Bullion, and Gold Certificates within the continental United States". The order criminalized the possession of monetary gold by any individual, partnership, association or corporation.

The order was rationalized on the grounds that hard times had caused "hoarding" of gold, stalling economic growth and making the depression worse.[1] The New York Times, on April 6, 1933 p. 16, wrote under the headline "Hoarding of Gold", "The Executive Order issued by the President yesterday amplifies and particularizes his earlier warnings against hoarding. On March 6, taking advantage of a wartime statute that had not been repealed, he issued Presidential Proclamation 2039 that forbade the hoarding 'of gold or silver coin or bullion or currency,' under penalty of $10,000 and/or up to five to ten years imprisonment."

Executive Order 6102 required all persons to deliver on or before May 1, 1933, all but a small amount of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates owned by them to the Federal Reserve, in exchange for $20.67 (equivalent to $371.10 today[3]) per troy ounce. Under the Trading With the Enemy Act of 1917, as amended by the recently passed Emergency Banking Act of March 9, 1933, violation of the order was punishable by fine up to $10,000 (equivalent to $180 thousand today) or up to ten years in prison, or both. Most citizens who owned large amounts of gold had it transferred to countries such as Switzerland.

Order 6102 specifically exempted "customary use in industry, profession or art"—a provision that covered artists, jewellers, dentists, and sign makers among others. The order further permitted any person to own up to $100 in gold coins (a face value equivalent to 5 troy ounces (160 g) of Gold valued at about $7800 as of 2011). The same paragraph also exempted "gold coins having recognized special value to collectors of rare and unusual coins." This protected recognized gold coin collections from legal seizure and likely melting.

The price of gold from the Treasury for international transactions was thereafter raised to $35 an ounce ($587 in 2010 dollars) resulting in an immediate loss for everyone who had been forced to surrender their gold. The resulting profit that the government realized funded the Exchange Stabilization Fund established by the Gold Reserve Act in 1934.

The regulations prescribed within Executive Order 6102 were modified by Executive Order 6111 of April 20, 1933, both of which were ultimately revoked and superseded by Executive Orders 6260 and 6261 of August 28 and 29, 1933, respectively.

Executive 6102 also led to the ultra-rarity of the 1933 Double Eagle gold coin. The order caused all gold coin production to cease and all 1933 minted coins to be destroyed. About 20 illegal coins were stolen, leading to a standing United States Secret Service warrant for arrest and confiscation of the coin. A legalized coin sold for over 7.5 million dollars, making it the most valuable coin in the world, almost double its nearest competition.

 



WE THE PEOPLE ALWAYS SEEM TO LOSE

 The Gold Reserve Act of 1934 made gold clauses unenforceable, and changed the value of the dollar in gold from $20.67 to $35 per ounce. This price remained in effect until August 15, 1971, when President Richard Nixon announced that the United States would no longer convert dollars to gold at a fixed value, thus abandoning the gold standard for foreign exchange (see Nixon Shock).

The private ownership of gold certificates was legalized in 1964. They can be openly owned by collectors but are not redeemable in gold. The limitation on gold ownership in the U.S. was repealed after President Gerald Ford signed a bill to "permit United States citizens to purchase, hold, sell, or otherwise deal with gold in the United States or abroad" with an act of Congress codified in Pub.L. 93–373,[7][8][9] which went into effect December 31, 1974. P.L. 93-373 did not repeal the Gold Repeal Joint Resolution,[10][11] which made unlawful any contracts that specified payment in a fixed amount of money as gold or a fixed amount of gold. That is, contracts remained unenforceable if they used gold monetarily rather than as a commodity of trade. However, Act of Oct. 28, 1977, Pub. L. No. 95-147, § 4(c), 91 Stat. 1227, 1229 (originally codified at 31 U.S.C. § 463 note, recodified as amended at 31 U.S.C. § 5118(d)(2)) amended the 1933 Joint Resolution and made it clear that parties could again include so-called gold clauses in contracts formed after 1977.

Surrounded by lots of pyro, smoke and lights Beyonce stands in the darkness of the stage made of 2 Egyptian profiles facing one another; clearly one female and the other to the right, male; below them, the circular area which continuously throws out loads of neon lights until they all stop and the spotlight suddenly turns on Beyonce.

Usually, Beyonce's color preferences are either black, gold or red, this time she is dressed in a skimpy black body suit adorned with a little black laced skirt. 
There are times when her performances style reminds me of those of the late Michael Jackson's.

Icing On the Cake

Once returning from this half Time show, the 49er's who were down by 15 points with the score being 21-6 came charging in with a 108 yard touchdown by Michael Crabtree.  Suddenly the New Orleans Super Dome loses power, knocking out many of the lights and leaving everyone to wonder what is going on.  Five minutes or so later, some of the lights returned but still not at full power and official tells Baltimore Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh to inform players it would take about 15 minutes to restore full power again.  Approximately twenty minutes later, the league is not prepared to answer any questions regarding what knocked the power out.  Press box level power was lost as well but was restored 31 minutes into the game's delay.

Evil is everywhere but Good outweighs evil.

 

Take a look at the blue sky or a star filled night sky.

Catch a glimpse at a flower which is still alive on a chilling winter's day.

Notice an elderly whose bones, brittle with time, continues to do daily chores.

Hear the hysterical laughter of children at play.

Glance at 2 lovers kissing in a warm embrace in public.

Recall one of many times your eyes have met with a stranger who offered to help and did.

Smell how the day has changed by falling rain or a different place you have travelled to.

Listen to the musical tones of people from a different land.

Silently laugh at a certain memory with your family or friends or a happening you noticed while out walking or even at home by yourself.

Ponder on the mystery of pregnancy, child birth, life and death, sickness and disease and we will all find that we are not very different from each other.

Times such as the above mentioned are just a few of many instances when we may take the opportunity to enjoy all the good that there is in this world and to even be appreciative of the sorrows we have experienced and learned of and from-- for if we did not have good, there would be no measure to know evil. 


At death, while in the funeral parlor waiting our turn to be embalmed for burial or prepared for cremation, we are all laid naked and next to strangers of various ethnicity and economic status.  The bounty of our labors, legacy or fortunes are not stored aside to be enclosed with us. We are then merely a lifeless, quickly atrophying body without thoughts of the evil doers who put us there or of the disease which was not diagnosed, misdiagnosed; no thoughts of how perhaps this could have been prevented by having health insurance or a better one.  

 

Finger Pointing

This method named, Finger pointing, is learned from observing our politicians who have passed the buck back and forth, placing blame on other countries, maligning leaders, alliances and anything they can differ to, rather than taking responsibility.   




 

The Way I C It,  Life may have been better if people learned to accept, appreciate and respect that the earth is a gift with enough land for all to live on, feed from and thrive from without monetary cost and tariffs to outside entities; each part of the earth was given a natural resource to barter with.

Once people learned greed, many lives were taken and peaceful existence on earth has been digressing ever since.  It is forbidden to interfere in the ways of man and his evolution.


Finger Pointing After The Loss of a Loved One.

Had it not been for the reckless driver distracted by a mobile text message or call alert, the surgeon, pilot or friend who lacked sleep, was impaired by drugs or lack of knowledge, this death would not have occurred. 

What if this death occurred due to The Illuminati's plan to depopulate the world in order to have better control of those left to survive and engage in so called the New World Order?  Perhaps thoughts like, "This is the fault of the government and it's simpatico bias for the rich, the poor, the Jews, Christians, Protestants, Mormons..." would be entertained as well.

This list of finger pointing and blame could go on and on in the lives of our loved ones left behind grieving our loss and trying to make sense of an event which is truly promised to us all. Death.

I would prefer to believe that our last thoughts are like the ones mentioned at the beginning of this post.  I don't know about you but if I had any choice in the matter of which would be my final memories, the good ones would erase any bad ones and if any thought of malice or evil popped into my soul's experience while travelling to its' destiny to the other side, I could hopefully try to find the brighter side or replace it with one of the tiny fingers of an infant.
